Kara Halsey, PT, DPTPhysical Therapist
Kara graduated with academic and clinical excellence from Rutgers University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to graduate school, Kara attended Penn State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the Smeal College of Business.
Kara has a wide variety of experience within orthopedic, neurological and pediatric settings and is passionate about rehabilitation and injury prevention. She has experience with the Neurac method and is excited to work alongside Dan Smires, PT, MDT providing Redcord treatment. Kara plans to continue her professional development and complete the Neurac Provider certification (CNP) in the near future.
Kara has a strong interest in fitness and wellness and regularly practices yoga and Pilates. She is an avid runner, skier and loves to play team sports in her free time. Kara is involved in various community and charity programs such as the NY Giants Snow Bowl benefiting the Special Olympics and the Wounded Warriors Project.
She also holds a membership with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and recently was chosen to present her research on stroke rehabilitation at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.
